The 101st Airborne Division, nicknamed the "Screaming Eagles" for their division insignia, is a modular airborne infantry division of the United States Army. The 101st was one of several divisions that parachuted into France prior to Operation "Overlord", or D-Day on June 6, 1944.
Call of Duty

In Call of Duty, the player assumes the role of Pvt. Martin, a member of the 101st Airborne Pathfinders, and parachutes into Normandy, just before the invasion. The player fights with the 101st through the battle of Sainte-Mère-Église, Brécourt Manor and Bastogne. The player is a part of Baker Company, along with helpers from the 82nd Airborne Division.

- In Call of Duty: Black Ops intel, it is mentioned briefly that Hudson was a part of the division.
- This is the first Allied faction in the Call of Duty series.
- Pvt. Elder trained with the 101st in Camp Toccoa, however he is in the 82nd Airborne Division.
