- The only appearance of them is on helicopters and not as soldiers, except in "U.S.D.D".
- Zombies on Five have 1st Cavalry Division patch on their uniform.
- The 1st Cavalry Division is the only instance of deployed members of the U.S. Army actually appearing in Call of Duty: Black Ops. Aside from MACV-SOG members, members of the Army only appear in-game supporting the player with a Huey gunship (all are marked with an ARMY decal on the tail and a 1st Cavalry Division symbol on the nose), despite the Marines bearing a U.S. ARMY label on their uniform's breast pocket.
