In Game
Edit
Soldiers from the 82nd are seen, most notably Col. Young and Cpt. James, are seen from time-to-time throughout the levels Operation Husky and Piano Lupo in Call of Duty 2: Big Red One and Pvt. Elder in the first game. The player usually relieves them in combat situations, then defends them, or advances ahead. In the mod for Call of Duty, the Operation Market Garden, the player (coincidentally is named Martin) is a member of the 82nd Airborne Division and his unit is tasked to drop near the Bridge at Grave and capture it.
In the single player campaign of Call of Duty, the 82nd helps Baker Company of the 101st Airborne.
