Baseplate is the S.A.S. command base, where Bravo Six received radio commands from regimental commanders.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Baseplate is mentioned several times by Gaz and Captain Price throughout the game, although never actually seen. Baseplate is mainly heard from in the last few campaign missions of the game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Baseplate is heard from several times in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. One of their operatives is Captain MacMillan, who talks to Price during his missions with Soap and Yuri. Baseplate is also heard as the command center for the SAS and the Special Ops announcer in Iron Clad, Kill Switch, Arctic Recon and Vertigo.
