Beachhead Studio[1] is the developer of Call of Duty ELITE, an online service for Call of Duty titles. Their studio is located in Santa Monica, CA.


History[]

Beachhead Studio was known as "Project Beachhead" by Activision's CEO Eric Hirshberg and Bobby Kotick during an interview about their next game being integrated with ELITE. They developed Call of Duty ELITE for handheld devices and for the web, while Raven Software helped Beachhead with the console version. Beachhead also won the CSS Design awards, being the tenth winner of April[2].
