Blue Tiger Camouflage

From the Call of Duty Wiki

(Redirected from Blue Tiger)
An M249 Squad Automatic Weapon in Blue Tiger camouflage pattern in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Blue Tiger camouflage is a fictitious camouflage pattern used in the online multiplayer of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. While there are blue-hued camouflage patterns in real life, none are identical to Call of Duty's blue tiger. The pattern was briefly considered by the United States Air Force, but was unpopular, and was dropped before the production phase. It is achieved by obtaining 75 headshots with a specific weapon or 50 headshots for the W1200 and M1014. It has a pattern much like forest and desert, except it has a black and blue shade. Some players prefer Blue Tiger to Red Tiger because it is more noticable and striking in all lighting (Red Tiger is almost invisible on some weapons on low light maps like Wet Work). Also, unlike Red Tiger, it actually can provide some camouflage function of maps like Wet Work and Vacant which feature an abundance of blue hues.

[edit] Modern Warfare 2

In Modern Warfare 2 the blue tiger will still be a camouflage option, only instead of being light blue and brown it is now dark blue and what seems to be black or just a darker brown.
