Private Brooks joined the United States Army Paratroopers in 1942, being assigned to the Baker Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He parachuted into Normandy on D-Day June 6, 1944 with a mixed unit and was later linked back up with Baker Company. He also assisted on the assault on a chateau in the Bavarian Alps and the rescue of Captain Price, getting an Opel Blitz truck which had been hidden in the forest with Private Harding. Once the rest of the team retrieves Captain Price, he and Harding meet them at the front of the chateau to help extract him. He does not assist on the assault on the German prison camp in Austria to save Gerald Ingram and is not seen again.
