Create A Class Edit
I would be very happy to see another tap with the best classes in the game for Core/Hardcore that includes Primary Weapon, Secondary Weapon, Weapon Attachments, Equipment, Special Grenade, Perks, Death streak, and Kill streaks. But since this comes down to player opinion have it so everyone can post their favorite class them vote from 1-10 on everyone else's.
Editing Etiquette Edit
Hi all, I am kind of OCD about my gaming and am doing some pretty serious independent research on weapon stats. I'd like to know how the community might feel about me just editing the data to what I've found. Should I instead post my numbers on the discussion pages? Would no one mind me filling in the numbers that are absent entirely? I am using the latest patches as of 1/15/10 and am doing tests in Multiplayer-Splitscreen which should have the same stats as Online (but obviously very different from Single Player). Some of the numbers are kind of tough to assign units to but I think that the numbers that are up right now are silly. The FAMAS range of 2500-2900 only makes sense if the units are centimeters because the distance for the damage drop-off is less than the space between the buildings on Highrise. Anyway, please let me know if you guys are interested in my stats or if I should leave well enough alone. DemonDoll 16:23, January 16, 2010 (UTC)
This should be at least referenced in the weapons category, as it is in the multiplayer menu background picture. It is the one in the back with a scar, but it has a curved magazine. Why is the breaching charge there? It isn't a weapon or attachment.....
Bring back the guns of cod4 Edit
I would like it if the COD 4 weapons were in MW2 as well as the new guns. MW2 doesn't even have the original MP5! Why don't it have one of the most famous Sub Machine Guns of all time?
Variety. You can't have all the same weapons return for each installment, that would be bland. Maybe for MW3 some of the weapons from MW1 will return that didn't make it to MW2. 14:02, May 2, 2010 (UTC)
Range in metres and not inches? Edit
Just noticed something that seems to have gone unnoticed for a while now (though the guy two posts above me caught on to it).
Weapon range is stated in metres, but am I correct in saying that they should be in inches (and hence converted to metres)? From what I see, the ranges stated on each gun seem to correlate with those on DenKirson's weapon charts , yet if you go to his charts for CoD4 weapons the units are in inches.
Whilst the ranges given in weapon info are mostly plausible in real life, the range stat only refers to damage drop off in MW2. For example, the P90 has a range of 900-1300m (being the range that damage drops from its maximum to minumum), yet no map (I believe) is even that large.

Default Weapon at CoD 6: MW2 Edit
i have a question about the Default Weapon in CoD 6. I hacked a multiplayer lobby, then started rust with the devmap command (devmap mp_rust). it loaded the map, but the commands like god or give all didn't work. so i thought there ist anymore something like devmap/devmode at CoD 6. i thought they patched they. but there's a mod called "God Ol' Days". it deactivates the patches. but it still didn't worked. so there isn't anything like a default weapon at CoD 6. Please fix it, i only signed up to make this article.
