Corrosion is a multiplayer map that was introduced with the second Map Pack for Call of Duty: World at War, which was released on June 11, 2009.

Corrosion is one of the smaller maps in Call of Duty: World at War, but it does provide some of the best hiding places for ambush attacks. Despite its size, there are some areas that give excellent lines of sight. This is an Eastern Front map, which takes place in Stalingrad.

Trivia Edit

• The trains have the same swords on them as the trains in the map Roundhouse.
• This is the smallest map in the game where Ground War can be played.
• Corrosion and Revolution are the only multiplayer maps in Call of Duty: World at War that take place in Russia.
