"Semi-automatic sniper rifle. Effective at long range."
— Weapon description

The D-25S was added in the March 14th, 2017 update[1] and is exclusive to multiplayer. It is available for use after the player completes the D-25S collection in the Depot.

Once unlocked, the D-25S is available for use at all levels. The D-25S can be equipped with an ACOG Scope after achieving 100 kills with it. The D-25S shares ammunition pools with the R700, M40A3, M21, S-Tac Aggressor, G3 and M14.

The D-25S features stellar ranged combat typical for a sniper rifle, comparable to the M21. The D-25S exceeds the magazine capacity of the M21 by two bullets for an amount of 12 compared to 10, however features less reserve ammunition than the M21 at only a single magazine. Bandolier may be useful as a Tier 1 perk if ammunition is a concern. Like the M21, the D-25S is a one shot kill to the head or neck without Stopping Power, with the one hit kill zone including the upper torso with Stopping Power equipped.

The D-25S sports a very low recoil pattern and a high fire rate, allowing successive shots to occur with ease. Stopping Power is less essential for this sniper consequently, freeing up the Tier 2 perk slot for a perk of the player's choosing. The D-25S also has a relatively quick reload time for a sniper rifle, lessening the need for Sleight of Hand.

When equipped with an ACOG Scope, the D-25S allows the player to better engage in close-medium range combat. When equipped with Steady Aim, the D-25S becomes even more deadly at close-medium range, shooting through cover or as a bolstered personal defence weapon if the player is ambushed.

The D-25S does not appear in Old School Mode.
