— Description

The DBSR-50 is a double-barreled bolt action sniper rifle featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops III that was added in the July 28, 2016 update. It has a magazine capacity of six rounds, and fires each two rounds in a semi-automatic fashion before being bolt cycled. Within the semi-auto fire mode, the shots can be fired quite quickly, making it handle similar to other semi-auto sniper rifles such as the Drakon and SVU-AS. The damage profile is very similar to the Locus, giving the weapon a middle-of-the-road feel between the two weapons. The chest ranged one-shot makes the DBSR-50 a very consistent choice for sniping.

Uniquely, the DBSR is equipped with iron sights by default, rather than a scope. Optics are unlocked by leveling the weapon up, and include the Reflex Sight and BOA 3, unique among the sniper rifles.
