The Karambit Knife is a combat knife featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Call of Duty: Mobile, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Vanguard, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Call of Duty: Black Ops[]

It is used in the campaign mission "Executive Order" to kill a Russian soldier by sticking it into the base of his skull, killing him instantly, allowing Mason and Woods to take their uniforms and infiltrate the launch site.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II[]

The Karambit Knife's only appearance in Call of Duty: Black Ops II is when it is used by Woods in the mission "Old Wounds" to torture Kravchenko.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered[]

The Karambit Knife is available as a standalone melee weapon in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, and is referred to as the Diabolical. It was added to the game with the May 2nd, 2017 update.

Call of Duty: Mobile[]

The Karambit appears in the form of Uncommon, Rare and Epic blueprints for the Base Melee in Call of Duty: Mobile.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare[]

A Karambit Knife is used by all of the base Chimera Operators in their default Finishing Moves, as well as the universal Fangs Out Finishing Move.

Call of Duty: Vanguard[]

A Karambit Knife is used in the Raptor Rage Finishing Move.

Call of Duty: Black Ops[]

  • It is used as the player's default melee weapon in "Executive Order" outside of when it is used on the guards.
  • The words on the blade say, "Model 72 Slicer."

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered[]

  • The "Inspect" animation for the Diabolical consists of the player spinning the knife around on their index finger.
