Eric Pierce is a former Senior Technical Animator/Artist at Treyarch, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games.

Education[]
He first attended the Massasiot Comm. College at Canton, Massachusetts from 1995 to 1997 and earned a Graphics Design A.A. degree. Then he studied at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts from 1997 to 2000 with industrial design engineering as a major and computer science as a minor and received a A.A.S. degree in Applied Science and Technology. After that, he attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California and graduated with a B.A. in Computer Animation in 2004. He then earned a certificate in C/Unix and App Programming/C# Concentration from the University of California, Los Angeles by studying there from 2005 to 2011. In between those years, he learned Python scripting for Maya during the fall semester of 2007 at the Gnomon School of VFX, Hollywood, California. During the spring semester of 2007, he took an online course from CGWorkshops and learned advanced character rigging in Maya.
Experience[]
He joined Infinity Ward on December 2004 as a technical animator for Call of Duty 2 and has since become lead animator all Infinity Ward games up until his transfer from the company to Sledgehammer Games in March 2012. During his stay, he was recognized as one of the top twenty performers on the Modern Warfare series and helped Treyarch with Call of Duty: World at War.
In Aug 2013, Pierce left Sledgehammer games. In May 2013, Pierce joined again Treyarch to work on Call of Duty: Black Ops III. He worked there until April 2014, where he left for a job opportunity at Gearbox Software, continuing his career at 2K and High Velocity Games.
