Erica is a minor character in Call of Duty: WWII. She is a German Citizen caught in the crossfire between U.S forces and Nazi forces in the mission Collateral Damage.
During the mission Collateral Damage, the 1st Infantry Division raids the hotel and they finds that there is a group of German citizens, who took refuge in the hotel's wine room during the U.S forces invasion of the German city of Aachen. Joseph Turner orders Ronald "Red" Daniels and Frank Aiello to go get the German transport truck to help evacuate the German citizens. When they return, the German civilians are leaving the hotel. Erica realizes that she forgot her little sister Anna. Red goes inside the hotel to find Anna, however some German soldiers have entered the hotel. Red gets out of the hotel and gives Anna to Erica. However, more German soldiers approach the hotel. The 1st Infantry Division fights against the approaching Nazi soldiers. They defeat the German units and Robert Zussman asks one of the civilians to drive the truck. But two more German soldiers fire on the team swiftly and some shots coming from German soldiers hit the truck's rear side. The 1st Infantry Division defeats the two Nazi soldiers but sadly notices Erica being shot to death. Pierson tells the driver to get away with the civilians. Anna is seen crying, mourning over the loss of her older sister.
