Express is a gametype featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops. This game mode includes multiple game modes, such as Team Deathmatch, Domination and Search and Destroy. As opposed to the core variant, the Express lobby has a shortened lobby timer before the match will begin. Most create-a-class items have not been affected by this game mode, except for the removal of the Ghost and Second Chance perks.

As the name suggests, Express includes a shortened 30 second lobby timer and faster game modes. Players can vote on various game modes within the lobby, similar to Team Tactical. Unique to this game mode is the inability to use the Ghost and Second Chance perks. Though the player can use classes with these perks selected, they won't have any effect in game.

• This is very similar to Team Deathmatch Express from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. However it features a 30 second timer as opposed to the 20 second timer in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
