It first appears at the end of the mission Sin City, where two Hornets shoot air to air missiles at federation helicopters destroying them while providing cover for the blackhawks rescuing the Ghosts. Trivia[]

  • Before Hesh says they should clear a path for the CV-22 Osprey, if one stands nearby the F-18 closest to the door long enough, 2 F-18's will make a rushing flyby in a side by side formation. These 2 will come from the take off area from the hillside. If one steps by the catapults and portside and do the same, the same thing will happen but this time they will be dogfighting a MiG.
  • By judging the colors of the F-18s and their Tail codes, it's possible that the F-18s are a reference to the real navy fighter squadron VFA-103 Jolly Rogers Squadron.
