Filatov (Russian: Филатов) is a corporal of the Red Army during the Battle of Stalingrad, he only appears in the second level of the Soviet campaign, Red Square.

CampaignEdit

He is the one who mans the captured German MG-42. He will mow down the first wave of retreating German troops, as retreating was a crime punished by death. He will also fire on the player if he tries to retreat back to the spawn point after the attack has started.

TriviaEdit

• There are few Maxim machineguns lying behind him, this is ironic because it was the Red Army's main machinegun and instead he is using a German MG-42. If the player runs onto the other MG-42 on the German side he can be killed without any penalties.
