Call of Duty: Black Ops DS[]
Base is a medium-sized map on Call of Duty: Black Ops (Nintendo DS). It is located in an American military base.
Overview[]
The map contains multiple buildings, a blindspot tent and a helicopter in the center of the map.
One sniper tower is present in the map and it provides decent view of the central map, however, this tower provides little protection.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance[]
Base returns once more in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance, and has been slightly more revamped from its previous incarnation.
Overview[]
Retaining its similar appearance, the base has been improved to look more 'modern' and now has more facilities within the area such as a barracks and more store rooms, making the field a slight bit more crowded and larger.
Trivia[]
- The popular sniper tower from Call of Duty: Black Ops DS returns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance. It has been fortified, but instead of having a ladder to gain access, it now has two sets of stairs.
- The helicopter in Call of Duty: Black Ops DS has been replaced by an APC in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance.
- In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance there is a glitch in the map. In both of the houses in Call of Duty: Black Ops DS, there was a small window. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance, these were removed and are blocked with crates. However, if one walks next to the wall, one will go through the wall and into the crate, where they will be oblivious to enemy damage, unless an enemy can get close enough to melee without getting killed. This is the reason why it is the least popular multiplayer map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance.
