Desert is a multiplayer map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance.

Overview

A mid-sized map, Desert take place at a desert resort area. Deserts board walks are quite distant from each other providing ample long range combat, the staircases and the small room below provide decent blind spots for close quarter combat, players can also walk off the edges of the board walks and plant rows which also provide blind spots so players can get the 'drop' on opponents underneath them.

Thick plant rows connecting buildings together can be walked over, there are also some plant rows that are gaped which means the only way the player can traverse them without falling is to sprint. These plant rows are also quite large in growth which can provide players with decent camouflage if they crouch in it, players can further the effectiveness of the camouflage by using the Camouflage perk.

In the center of the map is a pool of water that cannot be accessed by any means.

Trivia

• A part of one of the resort's building area's ceilings is glitched. The ceiling constantly flickers on and off, but it is still treated as a solid object.
