"The smallest of Jupiter's Galilean moons, Europa is one of the few planetoids aside from Earth where frozen and liquid water can be found naturally. This made Europa a very contentious settlement during initial expansion into the Jupiter Cluster. The UNSA claims that they banned individual nation settlements on the satellite to bring the conflict to a peaceful resolution, however the UNSA interests on Europa continue to remain classified."
— Description

Europa is a moon of Jupiter featured in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Europa was home to a secret research facility controlled by the United Nations Space Alliance, who used the site to develop F-SpAr weaponry, highly advanced energy weapons that were at the time only possessed by the Settlement Defense Front. The SDF would ultimately raid the facility and seize Europa, denying the UNSA access to F-SpAr weapons.

Trivia[]

  • Europa's surface temperature being referred to being "300 below" is most likely said with Fahrenheit in mind since absolute zero on the Celcius scale is -273,15°C, whereas absolute zero on the Fahrenheit scale is -459,7°F. The In-Game HUD never specifies Celcius or Fahrenheit, however.
