The F2000, labeled as FN F2000 in its multiplayer emblem, is a bullpup assault rifle featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty Online, Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. It was cut from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2[]

Campaign[]

In the campaign, the F2000 is seen used by the FSB in "No Russian", and is found with a Thermal Scope in the levels "Estate Takedown", "Wetwork", "Armor Piercing", "The Enemy of My Enemy", "The Only Easy Day... Was Yesterday", and "Loose Ends". In the campaign, it has two different types of Red Dot Sights. One version of the weapon, the F2000 Scoped, uses the standard F2000 telescopic sight. The second, the F2000 Red Dot Sight, uses the regular Red Dot Sight. The F2000 in the campaign has very low recoil but roughly the same rate of fire as the ACR, making it essentially an ACR clone in the campaign. The multiplayer counterpart has a noticeable increase in RoF and more recoil.

Multiplayer[]

The F2000 is unlocked at level 60.

The F2000 is a low damage assault rifle. At any range short of 37.5 meters, the F2000 will deal thirty damage per bullet, needing four shots to kill. Damage linearly decreases until fifty meters. At any range beyond fifty meters, the F2000 will deal twenty damage per bullet, needing five shots to kill. The F2000 has a four shot kill range of 44 meters. Headshots deal forty percent extra damage, reducing the number of shots needed to kill by one in almost all scenarios. The F2000 has a one shot kill range in Hardcore of 37.5 meters. The F2000 has medium penetration power.

The F2000's damage improves when using Stopping Power. At any range short of 37.5 meters, the F2000 will deal 42 damage per bullet, needing three shots to kill. Damage decreases linearly until fifty meters. At any range past fifty meters, the F2000 will deal 28 damage per bullet, needing four shots to kill. The F2000 has a three shot kill range of roughly 45 meters. Headshots will still typically reduce the number of shots needed to kill by one in all situations, and rarely will multiple headshots be needed to do this. In Hardcore, the F2000 has a one shot kill range of 47.5 meters, and a headshot will kill at all ranges in Hardcore.

The F2000's damage profile is tied with the M4A1 for the worst among assault rifles. In Core game types, Stopping Power will almost always improve the F2000 in any given situation. In Hardcore, as it does not guarantee a one shot kill without a headshot, Stopping Power is far less useful.

The F2000 has the fastest fire rate of all assault rifles, firing at 923 RPM.

The F2000 has the largest recoil per shot of any assault rifle. The F2000 has recoil values of 60 to the left, 60 to the right, 70 upwards, and 30 downwards. The F2000 has a centerspeed of 1500.

The F2000 allows users to move at 95% of the base movement speed, and strafe at 38% of the base movement speed. The F2000 allows users to aim down the sight in 250 milliseconds, and the F2000's hip-fire accuracy is standard for an assault rifle. The F2000 has some of the slowest reload speeds in its class. The F2000's reload animation is three seconds long, or 3.43 seconds long if the magazine is empty. In either case, the user can Reload Cancel after 2.06 seconds. The F2000 is tied with the FAMAS for the slowest reload speed of all assault rifles.

The F2000's magazine capacity is the standard thirty rounds in size, and the user will spawn in with ninety rounds by default.

The F2000 has the standard assortment of attachments available to assault rifles.

The F2000 does not get a Red Dot Sight in the traditional sense, as selecting the Red Dot Sight attachment actually equips the Telescopic Sight. The Telescopic Sight is bulkier and suffers from lens glare, but is immune to EMP effects, retaining the reticle. The Holographic Sight is unchanged.

The F2000 was cut from the game, however, textures and a menu icon can be found in game files. The model is also accessible as a placeholder model for the NZ3 Laser Designator. It uses the model of an F2000 with an ACOG Scope.
