The Farmer is an NPC civilian who appears in the level "Hunted" from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and who can be killed by an Ultranationalist.
Biography[]
In the mission "Hunted", Hammer Two-Six, is shot down and destroyed, forcing Captain Price and his team to venture through the rural fields to reach the extraction point while also having to avoid being detected by an Ultranationalist Mi-8 helicopter. When the team takes refuge in a wooden garage, they notice the farmer being confronted and interigated by Ultranationalist soldiers, who accuse him of hiding the crash survivors in his house. Price will then order his team to eliminate the hostiles and save the farmer's life. Once the team fires at and elmiminaties the hostiles, he is then seen fleeing back into his house, never to be seen again. If the player does not fire at the hostilies after Price gives the command, the Ultranationalist will execute him.

Trivia[]
- If the player saves him, he will run back to his house with his two hands out, as if he was holding a rifle.
- If the player saves the farmer before Captain Price says so, the achievement Man of the People will not be unlocked.
- If the player follows the farmer inside the home, he will run through a door.
