Frag x3 is a Tier 1 perk in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that gives a player three frag grenades upon spawning rather than the regular one. However, if playing in Old School mode it is possible to get up to four. It is unlocked for use at level 41.
This perk is a commonly used first-tier perk due to the large lethal radius of Frag Grenades. They are notably potent on smaller and/or linear maps, such as Showdown or Wet Work, due to the predictability of enemy paths. Players may decide to use all grenades upon spawning by throwing them in random directions, or by holding on to them and using them at appropriate opportunities, such as clearing a room.
