Crossfire is a multiplayer map in Call of Duty: Black Ops (Nintendo DS).
This map consists of 4 buildings that can be climbed on via ladders, a large 'courtyard' between these buildings, and a couple of buildings that can be entered.
There are large sightlines on the high buildings, where snipers can be very effective, however, there is little cover. Most of the fighting in the courtyard consists of close to medium range combat, so assault rifles are the best here. There is medium cover, but watch out for snipers on the high buildings. The combat inside the buildings is mostly close range, so smg's will work the best here. However, there are large open windows in the buildings, where snipers can quickly kill the player if they stay to long there. Inside the two main buildings, shotguns are effective for jumping people.
There was also a map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance called The Dark, which is a remake of Crossfire.
