The Neptune Cluster is a location that appears in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

The Charon Accords that ended the Secession Wars forbade expansion into the cluster containing the planet Neptune and the satellites within its gravitational influence. This forced the United Nations Space Alliance to abandon several satellites, bases, and under-construction projects in the region. Recent, unconfirmed intel hints at the Settlement Defense Front beginning to expand into this area despite the accords.

Neptune[]

The eight planet from the Sun, Neptune quickly attracted settlers seeking to harvest helium-3 from its atmosphere. Orbital stations were constructed above the atmosphere to harvest its helium, but the colonist's would raise their families on the surface of the moon Triton. The Lagrange asteroids sharing the planet's orbit provided resources to not only build facilities but their economy as well. Despite the fact that colonists had to live within shield homes to avoid radiation, settlers living on Triton found life to be fairly comfortable until they were forced to escape from SDF raids.

Triton[]

An icy moon covered in nitrogen geysers with a subsurface ocean of ammonia and water, Triton was colonised by settlers seeking to harvest resources from Neptune. Geothermal heat, supplemented by fusion power from Neptune's atmosphere, made colonising Triton viable. It was hoped the planet would become host to a considerable population, a dream crushed when the SDF conquered the moon and exterminated its settlers.
