The Opel Blitz is a truck that has made appearances in all Call of Duty games set in World War II. It has also made appearances in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Being the Wehrmacht's primary transport vehicle, it is seen frequently as a static prop and vehicle.

During the events of Call of Duty, The 101st Airborne Division used one to insert and extract a team of SAS operatives from a Chateau in Bavarian Alps before the same tactic is repeated to rescue Gerald Ingram from the P.O.W. Camp known as Dulag IIIA. The SAS team would then "requisition" one for their Eder Dam Getaway. The British then used one to escape the Eder Dam.

The Opel Blitz would later appear once more in Call of Duty 2, under the use of the SAS 7th Armoured Division as a vehicle to evacuate any wounded Americans to safety alongside the use of it to during their infiltration of El Daba.

It makes cameo during the Boat Chase in the mission "Endgame" in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, where it sits on a dried river bank. It retains the appearance from Call of Duty 2 and utilises a unique console name of "opfor_truck" for the level. it can also be found outside of the map Rust just across the river along with destroyed T-72s and ZPU-4s.

Several Opel Blitzes can be seen outside the playable area of the Aether Zombies map Nacht der Untoten, making appearances in Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

It makes an appearance in Call of Duty: WWII. It is used in the mission "Collateral Damage" to evacuate German citizens and is used as a static prop in the rest of the game. It is also, used in "Ambush" when some German capture Zussman and Daniels gives chase to save him. The truck can also be seen in the cutscenes of the multiplayer War Mode map "Operation Breakout" if the Axis team wins the round.

A dilapidated Opel Blitz can be found in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Dark Aether Zombies map Die Maschine within the Pond area.

Two Opel Blitz are featured in Call of Duty: Vanguard in the campaign level Operation Tonga. During the mission, Arthur Kingsley and a British Army Sergeant drive them into a minefield so the army can break through the German Armed Forces located there. Many Opel Blitz' are featured in the multiplayer map Radar. It can also be seen in Der Anfang in the region Merville.
