Hunter Two-One

"Hunter Two-One", also known as "Hunter 2-1", or simply "2-1", is a squad in 2nd platoon, "1st Company" (callsign Hunter), 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, led by Sgt. Foley which includes Cpl. Dunn, Pvt. Ramirez, and PFC. Allen.

The unit first appears in Afghanistan where it helps train Afghan recruits and participates in an operation to help BCT-One. The unit is then transferred back to the U.S. where they play a major role in the defense of America from the Russian Invasion. They arguably play the largest role in the defense of Washington D.C., clearing buildings such as the Department of Commerce and stopping the Hammerdown Protocol from destroying the city. The unit is last seen questioning when they will be able to take their revenge on the Russians for devastating their country.

SSgt. Adams (K.I.A.) - (Hunter Two-One Actual) - Former Squad Leader of Hunter Two-One.^[1]

Sgt. Foley - (Hunter Two-One Actual) - Acting squad leader of Hunter Two-One. Appears in every Rangers mission.
Cpl. Dunn - (Hunter Two-One Delta) - 2IC of Hunter Two-One. Also serves as the squad's medic. Appears in every Rangers mission.
PFC. Ramirez (Hunter Two-One Alpha) - Playable character. Fights alongside the squad from "Wolverines!" onwards and can be occasionally referred to by Foley to take command of a fireteam.
PFC. Allen (Transferred, K.I.A.) - Playable character, trained Afghan National Army soldiers and fought by Dunn and Foley in Team Player. Later recruited for Task Force 141.
Pvt. Morgan (K.I.A.) - Support Gunner alongside Ramirez, Dunn, and Foley driving the Jeep in "Wolverines." Seen in "S.S.D.D." and later confirmed dead in "Of Their Own Accord."^[1]

Sgt. Macey (Hunter Two-One Bravo) - CASEVAC overseer seen in "S.S.D.D." and "Of Their Own Accord" in the bunker.
Cpl. Arem - Soldier seen in "S.S.D.D." and also in "Of Their Own Accord", helping maintain the CASEVAC bunker.
Pvt. Wade (K.I.A.) - Defends the Dagger Two-One crash site and is killed shortly after giving Ramirez an M4A1. Seen in "S.S.D.D." and in "Of Their Own Accord".
Pvt. Sandler (K.I.A.) - Seen in "Second Sun" and "Whiskey Hotel". He defends the Dagger Two-One crash site and frees Ramirez from the Black Hawk. He is scripted to die within the first room of the office skirmish. Re-appears at the beginning of "Whiskey Hotel" via a developer oversight.

Aided BCT-One (Brigade Combat Team), in "Team Player".
Secured and defended HVI "Raptor" in "Wolverines!".
Eliminated enemy resistance, destroyed anti-aircraft batteries, and found corpse of an HVI and gathered photo evidence on the body of an Ultranationalist soldier in "Exodus".
Bought the Washington Monument Evac Site valuable time by taking out an RGF crow's nest and destroying numerous enemy helicopters, BTRs, and Javelin-armed troops with captured enemy ordnance in "Of Their Own Accord".
Secured the Department of Commerce building, aided the evacuation site at the Washington Monument, dealt damage to enemy SAM site at the Department of Justice building, and defended their position after being shot down in "Of Their Own Accord".
Survived the Russian assault and regrouped with allied forces to retake the White House in "Second Sun" and "Whiskey Hotel".

In the Special Ops missions Body Count and Homeland Security, the player is referred to as "Hunter 2-1" by Overlord.
The Marines dismantling the SAM sites in "The Only Easy Day... Was Yesterday" are referred to as Hunter Squadron by Punisher.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), a Helo Pilot can possibly identify themselves as Hunter 2-1.
