Fire Base Phoenix

Fire Base Phoenix is a US Army base in Afghanistan where 1st Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment are stationed. It appears in the mission S.S.D.D. Here PFC Allen assists Sgt. Foley in demonstrating to local soldiers how to properly use their weapons and later runs The Pit on orders from General Shepherd.

• The base seems to take few cues from the US SOCCENT Foward Operations Base from the movie Transformers, including soldiers playing basketball, the overall layout, and a lone MH-53 Pave Low idling on the airfield.
