The Flashlight is a campaign exclusive pistol attachment in Call of Duty: Black Ops and is seen being used by Mason and Reznov in the mission "Victor Charlie" on the Python and in "Project Nova" on the Tokarev TT-33, respectively. The flashlight is held in the "Harries Technique", similar to the manner with which the Tactical Knife is held in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 but the player reloads with only one hand.
The flashlight is unusable in multiplayer. In the campaign, the flashlight can be turned on and off by pressing the sprint button. The flashlight does not restrict sprinting, but when used the player has no sprinting animation, simply speeding up. This oddity can only be seen if using the attachment in sections of the relevant mission when it isn't normally available, since in the tunnels and the shipwreck sprinting is disabled, using the console command "give all". The slide of the TT-33 when out of ammo will lock back, but if the TT-33 is paired with the flashlight, it will not.
