The Fletcher-class of destroyers were a family of naval combat ships that saw extensive service with the United States Navy in World War II.

The Fletcher-class destroyers are seen in the mission "Black Cats" in Call of Duty: World at War. They are attacked by A6M Zero Kamikaze planes, and Locke and the crew of the PBY Catalina Mantaray rescue some of the crewmembers towards the end of the mission.
