ATTENTION AVID CALL OF DUTY: GHOSTS GAMERS- As part of our final project in a class at USC, we are researching the social tropes present within gaming communities. We are looking to gather videos of people playing COD with their real-life friends and/or online friends in order to study social tropes in communication between gamers.
Your participation in our project would be highly valued, greatly appreciated, and would require very minimal effort. Yes, after you mentioned it, I did some surface research on the Data Protection Act. From my understanding, it's to do with the individual rights of a citizen to protect the personal data that they chose to share with an organization. Thank you for bringing it up; I would like to reiterate that the submitted footage would be watched by a maximum of 4 people total and would in no be used to cause damage or distress, most simply for observation. All rights specified in the Act will most certainly be respected. I believe it also worth noting, however, that the Data Protection Act is legislation from the UK and, though its contents are duly noted, is not entirely applicable to a call for submissions from the US
