Ok so im a lil old school here and still play games on my ps2 and i got a $25 gamestop card and decided i want an online FPS. I havent really played many at all on ps2 and only multiplayer/online one I ever got into was Return to castle wolfenstein(original and ET). So basicly got a few quick questions... i dont know if the different consoles play on the same servers so if not which ones are still up on ps2 and which one has more ppl on a regular basis? Also if anyone is familiar with rtcw does CoD play fairly similar and if not any suggestions for other ps2 online FPS? (lol i only ask that because some issues on pc now and cant play rtcw anymore and miss it which is why im lookin for a ps2 one)

Call of Duty 1-3 servers for the PS2 have been closed down for some time now since Call of Duty 4 was released. Call of Duty 4 was never released for the PS2 since Infinity Ward is looking to sell their games to the increasingly popular next-gen consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3). World at War: Final Fronts is a PS2 version of the fifth installment, but it does not feature online play. I haven't played Wolfenstein, so I can't really give a comparison. PC is really the only way to go if you don't have a 360 or a PS3. Call of Duty 4 is still very popular on the PC and will likely remain that way until Modern Warfare 2 comes out.
