I'm curious, I know the wiki states "Prestige for each gun, however, persist to the next Prestige level (the kills and headshots for each gun's Mastery and Veteran challenges do not reset)."

Does this mean weapon attachments, such as tactical knife for pistols, various scopes, akimbo, etc.... will be already waiting for a player once they unlock the weapon again once prestige'd? Assuming they were earned prior to prestige?

I'd really hate to have to unlock my weapons again, AND work to get the toys that go with them again...

Well unfortunately you're going to lose everything when you prestige with the exception of your accolades, callsigns, and emblems. However, you do gain a custom class slot for every odd prestige. So there is incentive to prestiging other that for prestige.FloridaBulldawg 07:52, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
