Hello Fellow editors,
I was thinking. If we upload videoa, should we give credit to the oerson we took it from in the description (eg. Video of paint drying. Supplied by Jimmyjoe68). This is one practice we lack. A prime example is Zeldapedia. They always give credit.

I'd like to note, although somewhat irrelevant, that Zeldapedia is run very differently from this wiki. Anyway, there's no need to, videos are attributed to their YouTube uploaders automatically. Template:Signatures/Sactage 20:26, April 28, 2011 (UTC)
Not a bad idea but some new users might go crazy uploading videos and we won't be able to thank the author because we are too busy with the videos and stuff. -- mr_expert talk 20:26, April 28, 2011 (UTC)

The fact people are given credit in the videos is bad enough as it is. We are an encyclopedia dedicated to Call of Duty; not an advertising medium. The videos attribute the uploader of the video by themselves, adding more attribution would just bring in uploaders looking for free advertisement and reduce the aesthetics of the article as a whole. No one gets credit. This is a wiki, a collaborative website, no one person gets credit for anything. I don't care what Zeldapedia does, a wiki which very little of us probably have anything to do with, and about a game totally different to ours. 12:53, April 29, 2011 (UTC)
People would just start spamming videos so they get known. Not a good idea. CoaZTalk 19:55, April 30, 2011 (UTC)
