Gameplay Veteran[]

I nominate myself as I am an extremely experieced player with over 3 years of owning my first Call of Duty title, Call of Duty 4. I own every map pack for every post-Call of Duty 4 title and Call of Duty 4 itself. In CoD4 I am 10th prestige level 55 with 15 days of gameplay, MW2 8th prestige level 70, WaW no prestige level 70 and Black Ops 2nd prestige Level 5 (Because I stopped playing BOPS because in IMO it is a garbage game). I am often on the top of the leaderboards after a game. My highest killstreak is 48 in CoD4 and I have also completed every challenge. I have played each campaign atleast twice and at least on Hardened. Although I despise Black Ops, I am very able with all the guns and in my record I used the Kiparis to obtain 72-3 on Firing Range. In MW2 I have a total of 26 nukes on 3 seperate account (Because I wanted Fall on as many guns possible; I have Fall on all ARs, All SMGs except the Mini-Uzi, every sniper rifle, except the WA2000, and every LMG except the RPD, all no boosting). Bogging4[]

Hi, I would like to apply for an experience position (unless of course you want to make me a veteran). I am an expert on single player, Nazi Zombies and Special Op and play PS3. I've beaten both Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops on veteran and Modern Warfare on hardened. I have also collected all the intel in Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops and all the Death Cards in World at War. I have completed Special Ops and can provide good tips and guides for the misions involved in it. I also have an extensive knowledge for Nazi Zombies gameplay and story. On a sidenote, I have attained the platinum trophies for Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops. I also am experienced in multiplayer. I have prestiged in Modern Warfare 1 and 2 and Black Ops and am knowledgable on how to use certain guns, perks, etc. Overall I would say that I have an extensive knowledge of Modern Warfare 1 and 2, World at War and Black Ops single player. I am very proficient in Special Ops and Nazi Zombies. I am also experienced in multiplayer and can help if needed. Bogging4 10:58, June 11, 2011 (UTC)

Reznov115[]

I would like to submit a request for the category 'Tatics'. I own all the wii version of CoD, but excell at WaW and (Sort of)Black Ops. My special gamemodes are Objective-based modes, such as Domination and Sabotage. Search and Destroy is my thing, as it involves stealth (Well, you know what I mean). I am Level 24 on MW:R, 2nd Prestige level 10 on WaW (I was 1st Prestige for a long time, I became enchanted with the Flamethrower) and 1st Prestige level 49 on BO. On WaW, my best ranking is number 8001 on the Global leaderboards. My specialized weapon is Snipers on WaW, LMGs on MW:R and Assault Rifles and SMGs (Sometimes sniper rifles) on BO. I have a good understanding of almost all maps (My MW:R memory is a bit foggy, I haven't played it for a while), and know flanking routes and common paths through the maps. I also know good weapon and perk combos. I am also pretty good at Zombies (Round 17 on Kino der Toten, but what can you expect when your Wii is on the verge of melting?). Reznov115, out!

NumberOneEditor[]

I would like to apply for an experienced player position or for veteran if you think I am capable of succeeding in that position. I am very skilled at Campaign, Spec Ops, and am decent at zombies. I play MW2 and sold Black Ops because I like the fast paced action of MW2 and not the dull, balanced gameplay of Black Ops. I have all the achievements on MW2 except for "Downed But Not Out." My time on "The Pit" is 0:28:.80 and I achieved that only using pistols. I am also skilled in multiplayer. Yeah, my KD is 0.88 but that is because I I goofed of a lot in earlier prestiges. I am 6th Prestige, Level 70 and the reason I am not a high level is because I didn't play for an extremely long time. I play on Xbox 360 and my gamertag is asian00assassin. I don't think I am going to prestige due to the fact that I see no huge benefits and I am trying to the majority of the attachments for my primary weapons. I excel in operating behind enemy lines in close-quarters combat. My favorite weapons are the SCAR-H, TAR-21, Barrett .50cal, AK47, AUG HBAR, UMP-45 and the Vector. Yeah it's a lot of guns, but, there are a lot of guns that are good. I am also a team player when I need to be. I have 37 nuke under my belt but usually don't go after them due to the fact that they end the game and involve camping. Well, that is my resume and I hope you accept me into AAV.

Hello i specialize at mp and sp only at blackops. I am 3rd prestige at the moment and play regularly... i wanna join cause i know enough for ppl wanting to know about bo. i am knowledgable on game modes such as all the core and hardcore s and d. i love to storm ppl and i usually get an early killstreak. o use a stoner63. i only have the original maps. i love zombies but i am only mediocre at it and got to round 20 with 4 ppl. clawdenxleave message here 03:34, April 30, 2011 (UTC)

CyanideUndead[]

Although I'm not a huge prestige level, only 2nd 64 on MW2 and 1st 44 on WaW, both on 360, I would like to be put into an Experienced position. I am proficient at core game modes and decent at hardcore S&D. I know the layout of all original and Stimulus maps, not so much Resurgence. I am skilled with stealth tactics and perk setups. A final note is that I don,t need a UMP45 to be good at the game

Connor Auld Boi[]

I would like to request a veteran position. I am first prestige rank 55 on Call of Duty 4, rank 65 on World at War, and 3rd prestige rank 70 on Modern Warfare 2. I have completed the campaigns on veteran,( with the exception of WAW with only hardened) so I have a thorough knowledge of Singleplayer. I am skilled at Objective gametypes aswell as team games. I own all map packs for all three Call of Dutys i own, I have a very high knowledge of the maps including map layout, strategies and routes. Know maps off by heart and other players usual strategies. Moderate knowledge of weapon usage capacities and advised weapon loadouts. Getting Black Ops soon after release and plan to help edit BO pages. Finally, very skilled at Nazi Zombies.

Knotdead_Yett - Veteran[]

I would like you nominate myself for Veteran position. I am currently Eighth Prestige on Modern Warfare 2 and climbing quickly on the PS3. I am very proficient with all weapons and equipment. My primary tactic is using OMA for quick, mobile support. I have a good knowledge of all maps such as; good camping spots for your team to hold, sniping spots, strategical tactics and enemy’s approximant spawn points.

Squelliot[]

I am nominating myself for the rank of "Experienced" because of several things. One I know a great many amount of multiplayer tricks and tips and is usually in first place by 10 kills on the PS3. Second is I have played through the campaigns several times because my internet was broken so I know many things about singleplayer. And finally I'm a skilled Nazi Zombies/Spec Ops Player, I'm in the third prestige, I would be in the fifth but I haven't been prestiging for MW2 and I'm level 30+ on COD4 (I don't play it very much) and with World at War I'm in the second prestige rank 30s, I hope this is good enough.

Braden 0.0[]

I am Nominating my self for the rank of Experienced because of several things:

1. I am Lvl. 34 in CoD4, but am pretty wise at game tactics and weaponry

2. I am Lvl. 31 in WaW, But I'm very good at Nazi Zombies

3. I am Lvl. 66 Prestige 3 in MW2 and am a very good player, know all maps off by heart, know every trick and tactic in the book, extremely proficient at Team Death Match, Domination, Demolition, Good at S&D, fairly good at Hard Core and at least experienced at other game types.

4. As above, I'm Extremely good at Nazi Zombies and the other Bonus modes in the CoD series.

AdvancedRookie- Veteran[]

I am nominating myself for veteran because I have completed CoD3 to MW2 on Veteran. I have extensive knowledge of singleplayer due to the fact I have access to game files and cheats. I am Level 55 on Call of Duty 4 which doesn't let PC prestige. I am Prestige 10 Level 65 on World at War. I am also Prestige 1 Level 70 on MW2. I have clocked up about 2 weeks and 3 days on multiplayer altogether. I am knowledgeable on the Call of Duty series and know a lot about AI and such.AdvancedRookie 12:40, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

DevilWarrior112 - Veteran[]

I am nominating for the rank of veteran. I have CODs Big Red One, 3, 4, WAW and MW2. I am 4th Prestige Level 22 on MW2 and I am also a very good weapon expert such as attachments and firing rate. I have been playing on MW2 for 7 days now and have purchased the Stimulus Package and will buy the Resurgence Pack. I know every (well almost every) tactic on the maps of WAW and MW2. Epochalyptik - Veteran[]

  • Platform - Xbox 360
  • L.55 10th prestige - CoD4
  • L.59 4th prestige - CoD:WaW
  • L.70 10th prestige - CoD:MW2
  • Better with tactics than mechanics, but still proficient in both fields.
  • Great deal of time logged online in the above 3 titles, familiarity with campaign mode, and great with Nazi zombies.
  • All levels are legit; I've fought for a long time in each title and can answer almost any multiplayer question.
  • Strongest gametypes - TD, War, CTF, Domination, Ground War, Sabotage, and HQ. Mostly play core, but have played Hardcore modes as well.
  • Good with advice on weapon/perk combos and map tactics, particularly on MW2.

Hk37- Experienced[]

I would like to nominate myself for the position of "Experienced". I have over 5 days worth of multiplayer for every game, in every game since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I am knowledgeable on the mechanics of the game and weapons. I have studied the maps in each game extensively, including the maps in the Resurgence Map Pack and Stimulus Package. In addition to my multiplayer experience, I also have played the Single Player, Nazi Zombies and Special Ops portions of each game extensively. I am very much willing to help newcomers, both to the series and to the wiki, learn the "tricks of the trade", as it were. Help available for Xbox 360 only. Hk37 Need help? Munchable901- Experienced[]

I have extensive knowledge about Modern Warfare 2, that's why I would like to nominate myself for the position of "experienced." My specialty is mostly Gameplay. I have a good amount of knowledge of MW2's campaign, the characters, the weapons, and where intel locations are placed. I have beaten the campaign on Veteran. For Spec Ops, I am very familiar of the missions and locations of the missions. I can also provide some tips as well for the challenging missions, particularly the Echo section. Multiplayer, I fairly know a lot about. Hours of playing time, currently, I am on second prestige, and have no desire to prestige again. I know when camo is unlocked, as well as the weapons. I know a little about tactics, although I can provide tips about claymore/C4 placements. I play on 360 versions of MW2. Munchable901 |TALK? 03:35, June 21, 2010 (UTC)

CoD addict - Veteran[]

I have beaten all main Call of Duty campaigns on Hardened difficulty since Call of Duty 2; I have extensive XBOX 360 multiplayer experience in all main installments. Multiplayer tactics from Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: World at War, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 maps are my specialty.

Advancedwarfighter- Experienced[]

I may not have much gaming time under my belt, but when I go online in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, I am either the MVP, or the loser at the bottom, for I am very creative when it comes down to tactics. Right now I'm perfecting a tactic for survivability during head- on approaches and guerilla raiding. I am also well- versed in how to maximise your class for the best results when using a certain technique. Only one- two missions away from 100% completion of MW2. I am PS3 player

Bumblebeeprime09- Experienced[]

I may be a rookie at the COD wiki, but I want to be an experienced person, since I am level 70, first prestige, and i have been that rank for a long time. I play on PS3, and I own Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: World at War, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I have destroyed many boosters (If that counts for something). I know how to use most guns, and I am pretty sure I could give some good advice on each gun. Being a person that hunts boosters, I know many points that are good for ambushing and sniping, among other tactics and styles of gameplay (On MW2), and i think i could educate a new player on using weapons correctly and using the person's surroundings on a certain map to their advantage. That is what i have to prove I am experienced. Ak47resizedBumblebeeprime09 Talk Blogs 23:15, June 21, 2010 (UTC)

This is why I think I should be chosen as an experienced player. Anim-pave-low emblemUMP-45 menu icon MW2Cpl. RossUSP .45 menu icon MW2 16:47, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Maj. Boner - Veteren[]

I am a very experienced player of Call of Duty. You can ask me questions about CoD 4, CoD: WaW and MW2, hell even CoD: Black Ops.

My multiplayer stats:

CoD: 4: 9th Prestige Level 55, golden Ak-47, M1014, Dragunov, M60. About 2 months in total game time played. I am THE CoD 4 expert.

CoD: WaW: 4th Prestige Level 65, very experienced in World at War.

CoD: MW2: 7th prestige Level 41, going to 10th prestige, ask me a question on ANYTHING, anything. I do everything legitimately, never have I boosted nor hacked, and never will.

Fell free to ask me any questions about Call Of Duty.

I am also a veteran in other games such as, HALO 3, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Assassin's Creed 1&2, Mirror's Edge, Battlefield series, Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Revolver, Saints Row 2, World of Warcraft (<ima n00b), and other games that I may remember.

Well, I started this group, I've got (I think) about a week of multiplayer time on MW2, and am already well on my way to third prestige, I've played the single player of every Call of Duty game on Xbox (excepting the original and WAW), and have completed the campaigns of 2, BRO, 3, 4 and 6 several times over. • I have completed Mw2 on veteran
  • I am prestige 9 on Mw2 and ranking fast to 10.

  • I have impeccable grammar, and can answer questionspolitely and professionally.
  • I play Call of Duty A LOT.

Rampantlion513-Veteran[]

EvErLoyaLEagLE - Veteran on Transcripts and Events[]

I would like to be part of the "Ask A Veteran" group for transcripts and events of the Modern Warfare series. By studying the campaign gameplay seen on YouTube video clips recorded by other players, I've provided the sources for players that can help them understand what the characters are saying and what is going on around them as the story goes.

  • I provided the mission objectives that appear during gameplay for both MW1 and MW2.
  • I provided the transcripts for the majority of both Modern Warfare games:

- MW1 ~ "Blackout" (second half), "Death From Above", "Shock and Awe", "Safehouse" (majority), "One Shot, One Kill", "Heat", "The Sins of the Father" (in-game), "Ultimatum", "All In", "No Fighting In The War Room", "Mile High Club"

- MW2 ~ "Wolverines!" (majority), "The Hornet's Nest" (in-game), "Exodus", "The Only Easy Day... Was Yesterday", "The Gulag", "Of Their Own Accord", "Contingency", "Second Sun", "Whiskey Hotel", "Loose Ends", "The Enemy Of My Enemy", "Just Like Old Times", "Endgame

  • I also made additional and improvement edits to all Modern Warfare transcripts after they were provided.

Bioniclepluslotr[]

Hi, I'd like to join the Experienced players group. I have extensive multiplayer experience in MW2 and Black Ops. I am the max level of each game, but I do not prestige. Prestige is not exactly a show of skill, as the worst player can play for years and finally get enough XP to prestige to the highest level. I do not prestige because I don't want to lose all my stuff, not because I'm a bad player. I have experience with every weapon in Black Ops. I do not specialize in a specific weapon. I use a different gun in basically every game I play. I am experienced with each weapon in the game, along with game strategies. I am not a quick scoper or a trick shotter. I play very straightforwardly and often end up as the number one on my team in TDM or SND. I believe that I am experienced enough to give other players tips on how to do well with weapons that may be unfamiliar with. I also know a few things about mechanics, such as claymore range and equipment placement and stuff about perks. If I need to add anything more to this proposal, please message me. Proposed Guides[]

For proposed guides, place it as a topic for discussion here and organize the authoring of it on a Forum Subpage.

M4A1[]

This is the first assault rifle available in the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, so I figure it would be a great starting point for a guide, we could outline strengths and weaknesses, and tactics playing on those strengths and when used with the different attachments, as well as recommended secondary weapons. Who would like to help out, and where should we actually put the guides? I was thinking that we could put them on a weapon subpage(this one might be M4A1/Guide). Warpig3|1|2 13:20, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

Agreed. The M4A1 is a good all around assualt rifle that's used extensively. Rambo362 20:43, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

I would be glad to contribute! (see specialties) --TMOI {Reply} 06:53, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

What about it? Commander W567123danielWanna Talk?|My Duty|Wassup? 16:10, June 27, 2010 (UTC)

AK-47[]

I'd like to contribute with a guide to the AK-47. I have used it every prestige in MW2, and have over 1000 kills on the Veteran challenge, and having mastered the weapon, have good knowledge on how effective the attachments are. Being the last weapon available in MW2, many players may not use it a lot as they are progressing through the prestige mode, and I think I could write a guide to help players for when they stop prestiging and actually use the weapon. I also have experience using it in Call of Duty 4, if that can also be added in. - 12:59, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

I'm happy to help Scotland on this. I have the Ak-47 Veteran III challenge, Mastery and a fair way to the Master challenges too. He's also right in saying it's a weapon not often seen simply for the level requirement, so with my long time standing of being level 70 10th prestige, i'm pretty familiar with the weapon and it's limitations. The-Dreamcaster 12:03, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

SPAS-12[]

I'm working on a SPAS-12 guide. I've got about 1,000 kills with it, so I have some experience with it. Darkman 4 17:05, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

Again, i'm willing to offer my extensive multiplayer knowledge to this as i've got the Veteran III challenge and Master I challenge done with this. I know it's effective range and plenty of information about where it is most useful. The-Dreamcaster 12:15, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

Not a veteran or anything, but I use the SPAS pretty much all the time, over 2,000 kills. I know how to build a good class with it, so I'd be interested in helping make a guide, SystemOperator Lord Aggregation Spam box! 10:30, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

Intervention[]

Me and Darthkenobi0 have been discussing an Intervention guide. I have used it more than any other weapon in multiplayer, and I could provide some useful information. Cpl. Dunn(Talk)

ACR[]

I have had lots of time using the ACR, and I feel that I can provide some good tips for other users. Cpl. Dunn(Talk) 23:27, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

UMP.45[]

Without a doubt the most popular SMG in multiplayer a great gun half of my six classes have it I know good class setups and tactics with it as well as basic gameplay tips. I feel that I could effectively write a guide and recieve help from the community if needed.Foxtrot12 08:53, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

USP .45[]

I may be able to write this guide, having used it around 60% of multiplayer time, having achieved Veteran II, and Master I. I know what primary weapons couple with this sidearm very well, and what fills in the gaps and hides the flaws and weak-points of the USP .45 to use it as a primary weapon.

Can someone write a rough draft guide or at least save a blank format with the title Barrett.50 Cal? I'm not very good at making these kinds of things. If someone can create a rough draft of a Barrett.50 cal guide, I will be happy to edit it and put all the attachments and tactics with it. The .50 Cal is my main sniper rifle. I've haven't used it alot, but I haven't used any sniper rifle a lot. I've used the Barrett .50 Cal the most though. So if anyone can create a rough draft of the Barrett .50 cal, I'd be happy to take responsibility of editing and finetuning it. Thanks! Codfan 03:52, June 29, 2010 (UTC)Codfan

Never mind. I'll make the guides for the barrett, WA2000, and M21 EBR but I need permission from anyone within our veteran groups. Anyone? Codfan 20:10, June 29, 2010 (UTC)Codfan

WA2000[]

And can someone also make a rough draft of a WA2000 guide? Just a simple rough draft. I'll edit it ALOT and do the same thing with it. Codfan 03:54, June 29, 2010 (UTC)Codfan

M21 EBR[]

And can someone do the same with the M21 as I requested with the WA2000 and .50 Cal? I'll take care of this too. Codfan 03:54, June 29, 2010 (UTC)Codfan

Vector[]

A Highly underestimated weapon, the Vector, despite its low damage per shot, still has an equal or greater killing speed than the UMP45 when used accurately. Having used it for 3 days of play time, I know how to make this weapon as deadly as any other gun in the game, if not deadlier. Cpl. Ross

F2000[]

As of yesterday, I have Fall Camo for the F2000 and have almost completed the Veteran III challenge. I've really enjoyed using this weapon and could make an effective guide showing what it's good against and where it well excel. Being a hugely underrated weapon, I want to put this gun back on to the popular list and make people see what it's good for! The-Dreamcaster 14:10, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

I'm going to be working on this guide :) I've had the F2000 for only about 6 hours of gameplay and I've got Digital camo, and just unlocked the ACOG, I've had the P90 for a few days of gameplay and barely have silencer, so yeah F2000 is pretty win. I'm not sure about others but I love this weapon with Thermal, stopping power and FMJ, even with recoil you just aim for center of mass and get the kill. Core to Hardcore Guide[]

I made a Core to Hardcore Guide, and I've placed it on the Ask A Veteran Wiki. Can it be placed on this wiki too? And if you don't like the guide, you can change whatever you want, or write a new one. Here's the link to the guide page on the AAV wiki: http://aav.wikia.com/wiki/Core2Core_Guide

Question — As seen on my blog, I'm getting a PS3 as well as a copy of MW2. However, I'm not familiar with the game's controls, so are there any tips/suggestions that can be given to help me adjust?Hax 217 00:28, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

Experienced - Answer - If you just want to adjust, just play some splitscreen with a friend, and get used to the game controls. Cpl. Dunn(Talk)
Answer - Play some single-player. The very beginning of the campaign is an unavoidable tutorial that will teach you the controls. Blinzy45 04:34, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

Question - I play MW2 online quite a bit, and was wondering if you have any tips for getting my deaths down, as I got the game fairly recently. Tactical Nuke inventory icon MW211th ExplosionTactical Nuke inventory icon MW2

Veteran - Answer - Reflect on your own actions. Without anyone watching you and coaching you, the best thing you can do for yourself is to look at every one of your deaths. Before KillCam pops up, ask yourself the same questions: why did I do to get myself killed? Could I have avoided the situation? Watch each replay and pick out the moment that got you killed. Did you reckless run into an open area? Did you have a case of tunnel vision, falling victim to repetitive habits and going through the same areas over and over again? Most new players have an automatic mindset of running towards the "front" without paying any attention to their surroundings. Be patient, slow down, follow your team, and take your time. There's no reward for sprinting around and getting to places faster. Get behind cover, scan your area, get to know the map, and eventually you'll find yourself staring at the KillCam less frequently. --Scottie theNerd 12:34, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

Question - Why is beating MW2 on Veteran and buying Call of Duty: Classic on certian users qualifications? I have done both of those and I know I can't make it on this! Nacht der Untoten Poster2Conqueror of all Zombies TalkNaziZombies 03:05, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

Veteran - Answer - They shouldn't be. Beating any CoD game on veteran can be accomplished simply through trial and error. Buying a game can be accomplished by anybody. I don't know why they are regarded as important, but apparently they are.  FANMADE_Animated_Derpy_Hooves_desktop_ponies_sprite.gif Sig1.png Sig2.png  08:47, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
Similarly, rank and prestige is more a matter of time than of skill. Without any verifiable and objective guidelines as what would constitute a "Veteran" player, people are putting up anything relevant. In effect, it seems any player can claim to be experienced in any field. Very few Veterans and Experienced players have any claim to notability outside of just playing the game. --Scottie theNerd 11:43, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
Well, trial and error breed a certain amount of skill and knowledge, that is why prestige and rank are being posted. Basically beating certain games is more of showing that user can answer questions about the game but will now be removed :) TimSim(talk) 13:39, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Question - Should we create new guidelines for how to become classifid as a Veterans/Experienced player? Conqueror of all Zombies 19:59, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

Question - Why are people still playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2?

Experienced - Answer - Some people enjoy the game. Cpl. Dunn(Talk) 11:22, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Answer- this is a pointless question, if you think that people shouldn't play this game, then don't play it, and if you are just wondering, then this question does not fit here.

Question - Are we supposed to ask questions regarding gameplay here, or can you direct me elsewhere? Brainwasher5 18:54, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Experienced - Answer- Yes, that's one of the main purposes of this page. Rambo362 12:23, June 27, 2010 (UTC)

Question - I read the Call of Duty Wiki:Ask A Veteran/L86 LSW Guide and I had some remarks/questions about. But the most important one was the following. I use Lightweight as a Tier 2 Perk, but it wasn't in the guide. I use it to move faster from place to place, but is it a bad "combo" or should it be added in the guide? Jupitus 15:27, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Experienced - Answer- You can ask the guide writers to put it in, but this question shouldn't be asked here. Rambo362 12:23, June 27, 2010 (UTC)

Experienced - Answer - No, not at all. That is actually an excellent choice, especially for Light machineguns, since they aren't light. Lightweight is useful for that weapon and that weapon class, it can help you move around faster, which, in the long run, will definately help you in matches like Search and Destroy, Domination and Capture the Flag. Question - Is a good idea use the SCAR-H and the SPAS-12 with Scavenger, Stopping power and Steady aim for obtain a high Killstreak? Pain Emenor 16:02, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Experienced - Answer - It depends on your playstyle and attachments. For example, if you use Stopping Power, but with a silencer, you should switch out Stopping Power for Cold Blooded. I would recommend either SCAR-H with Extended Mags, or with Silencer but then swith out stopping power. As for the SPAS-12, it is a great choice, as the SCAR is very weak in CQB. You can use any attachment on the SPAS, except Silencer. Whatever you do, don't use a silencer on a shotgun. Never. Ever. So, yeah, it is a good class with some very decent guns, and versatile attachments. The only thing you could change is, like I said earlier, use Cold Blooded instead of Stopping Power, but that is your choice.. I would also recommend not rushing the enemy team, but rather hang back and give the rushers cover. Commander W567123danielWanna Talk?|My Duty|Wassup? 16:50, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Question - This is a question on how to complete a couple of the Boot Camp challenges of CoD 4. I need to fall to my death from 30 feet, but can't find anywhere that I can do this from. Also, any tips on destroying enemy explosives? 18:58, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Experienced - Answer - A good place to go woould be the really tall, 3 story building on Crash. Simiply go up to the third floor and jump off of the top where the ladder is. You'll know it when you see it. As for destroying enemy explosives, Getting the perk, Bomb Squad, should help. Rambo362 12:44, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

Experienced - Answer - A better place, and a easier one to get to, for the "Fall 30 feet to your Death" achievement is in Pipeline. Go to the top of building 1 and just jump off, now be sure to actually jump off, otherwise you won't die from the fall. Another easy place to get this achievement, is in Backlot. Go to the construction building and once on the top floor, go to where the ladder is, look over the edge and you should see a big hole in the building leading to the basement of the construction building. Jump down in there and you should die. Bullet Case Emblem MW2 SigRod3 21:18, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Question - Why isn't PC on the list of consoles for experienced players? Shotrocket6 21:20, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Experienced - Answer - A PC is not a console :P 2. Maybe we don't have experienced PC players? That is a good question. Commander W567123danielWanna Talk?|My Duty|Wassup? 07:24, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Veteran - Answer: The console list is meant to reflect the console-exclusive games (e.g. Call of Duty: Finest Hour) rather than the games that are released on PC, PS3 and X360 (which are also missing on the list). As the other games are significantly different and are less played, there are less people who have expert knowledge on the game. --Scottie theNerd 07:59, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Question — hello, I need some strategies for obtain a Tactical Nuke. What Strategies would be effectives for a Tactical Nuke, Maps and gametypes? Pain Emenor 07:21, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

Experienced - Answer - The best gametype, and by gametype I'm assuming that you mean playlist, would be Ground War, as the games are big enough to net a skilled player many kills in a shorter amount of time. As for strategies, I would recommend sniping as it will lessen the chances of you getting killed by another player. Beware, though, it takes lots of patience to snipe and it is very dangerous unless you are secluded in a spot away from all the action. Any map that you find good for sniping will do for this strategy. Another strategy would boosting in a Free-For-All game. This is not a recommended strategy, though. For more information on Boosting, see it page here. US Army OF-2 Rambo362 US Army OF-2 12:48, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Question — I'm hoping you experienced and veteran players can offer some "mechanical" advice on how to shoot and melee with maximum quickness and precision, particularly regarding Black Ops for Wii. It seems that most other players lock on to targets (e.g. me!) almost instantaneously - I usually jerk the crosshairs to a spot close to the target, then overcorrect or undercorrect... and eventually respawn! At first I assumed I'd get better as I gained experience and better weapons, but I'm now on level 28 and have tried most of the weapons available so far. The Classic Controller Pro seems to work a little better for me than the remote/nunchuk (and I just find the CCP to be more fun). I suspect that my problem has to do with one of more of: Hardware - maybe the remote/nunchuk is superior with practice, and I'm going down the wrong path with the CCP. Configuration - maybe there are optimum settings for controller layout, look sensitivity, etc. that I'm not using. Skill - maybe I'm being impatient and really do just need more practice (this isn't my first FPS or COD title, but I'm far from a hardcore gamer). Talent - maybe I just don't have the talent and/or eyesight for this type of game. Thoughts on techniques, controller and settings, or whatever else I'm missing are appreciated. 68.80.221.234 03:38, January 30, 2011 (UTC)

Answer - You're going to want to make sure you use the controller smoothly and precisely. I don't personally own a Wii so I'm not an expert with the Wiimotes but a rule of thumb with any game console's controller is that you need to be easy with it, not jerking the controls all over the place. --Callofduty4 03:45, January 30, 2011 (UTC)

Question — What are the ways or tactics could you use if your internet connection isn't perfect where it is unable to provide a consistent four bars connection and dropping to two bars or one bar. 112.203.16.131 16:57, December 31, 2011 (UTC)

Veteran on Gameplay[]

Clean Up.[]

AAV needs to be fixed up. Some of the reasons for users being "veterans" are stupid and irrelevant to being good at CoD. And some of these users don't edit anymore either. Personal Conqueror of all Zombies Ireland flagCoaZTalkPersonal Conqueror of all Zombies Ireland flag 23:17, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

Then I say why don't we just restart this whole thing? It looks like a freaking mess, and there are WAY too many "veterans". One veteran for each thing would be plentiful, such as a programming vet, and a vet for each of the games, then specialized vets. For instance, somebody who uses the tomahawk alot in Black Ops could be the Tomahawk Veteran (i.e me), then somebody who plays it on PC and has access to files and such with an intimate understanding of weapon damage and multipliers could be the Statistics Veteran or whatever. This page looks like absolute crap at the moment, and just reading through, I don't think half the people even need to be here, they just came to be put up on a pedestal in their own minds. 124.178.145.114 06:22, August 20, 2011 (UTC)
The inherent problem is that you don't need to be a veteran to answer questions, and the questions asked don't need veterans to answer. Merely being good at a game -- or even just playing the game -- is enough of a knowledge bank. --Scottie theNerd 10:00, September 17, 2011 (UTC)
