Gary was an explorer who found Shangri-La along with Brock, who is his superior. The players need to help him escape Shangri-La. If the player does not even attempt the easter egg, Gary will die. As stated in the first radio, Gary dies from an unknown cause. But if the player at least begins the Eclipse easter egg, Gary survives, only to be stuck in a time loop.
