Granite Leader is the codename of an unnamed commander of Team Granite who appears with Team Metal who tries to secure and extract Alena in "Scorched Earth" in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. His team is killed by explosives detonated by Russian forces in the hotel Alena was hiding.

TriviaEdit

• His name and appearance are randomly generated.
• Listening closely during Granite's final moments, the player can hear Granite Leader say something that sounds like "Help" or "Now". The former is most likely referring to how they need assistance, even though no units are in a position to run in and assist, and the latter is referring to getting his teammates out of the room so they aren't killed by the bombs present in the room. This is very hard to hear due to the massive amount of static.
• Granite Leader usually is the last one to die in the room, and he is the trooper with the "Granite" marker above him, it will stop moving and fade if he is killed before the explosion, but it does not disappear until the bombs go off.
• Granite Leader is the only supporting Delta Member in the campaign with scripted dialogue.
