Private Griffen was an SAS soldier who served alongside "Soap" MacTavish during the events of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

- On Crew Expendable, there are sometimes (rarely) two SAS men both named Griffen.
- It is possible that Griffen and Wallcroft are the soldiers that were executed by Zakaev's bodyguards.
- When Captain Price asks Wallcroft and Griffen about their status, a young accented British operative replies back. It is possible that this is Griffen.
- Griffen has a scar on his right cheek, just like Mac.
- On Crew Expendable when Griffen is in the helicopter informing Captain Price that the MiG has open fired and you are then thrown to the ground with the force of the blast he continues talk even though you can't hear him.You may notice this if you have subtitlels on.
