Hammer 2-4 is a UH-60 Blackhawk that was tasked with transporting Captain Price and the rest of Bravo 6 to a cargo ship in the Bering Strait during the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered mission "Crew Expendable".
Crew Expendable[]
During the mission, Hammer 2-4 is seen transporting Price, Soap, Gaz, Wallcroft, Griffen and an SAS member to a cargo ship. After Price, Soap and the SAS member fast rope to the ship's deck, Hammer waits on the all clear from Price to deploy Gaz and the remainder of the team.
The helicopter remains with the team until they reach the opposite end of the ship where Bravo Team comes under fire from an Ultranationalist machine gun, which Hammer 2-4 clears out so that the team can advance and continue the mission. Upon clearing the emplaced position, Hammer 2-4 announces to Bravo Team that they are at bingo fuel and are bugging out. Hammer 2-4 also mentions that Big Bird will be on station for evac in ten.
After Crew Expendable, Hammer 2-4 is not seen again in game again, with Hammer 2-6 and Vulture 1-6 taking its place.
