Hoover Dam (formerly known as the Boulder Dam) is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, and is part of the border between Nevada and Arizona.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: DefianceEdit

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance, two levels take place at the Hoover Dam after it falls to Russian occupation. Dam Approach is a mission that takes place around and over the Hoover Dam, where British SFSG forces soften up Russian defenses. In Lights Out, British SFSG forces infiltrate the Dam, but at the end of the mission it is still destroyed by Russian bombs.
