The Hostage (Originally called Kriegler, according to cut audio files) was a minor character in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Biography

In the mission "Mile High Club", the hostage was on a plane when Ultranationalists hijacked the plane for an unrevealed reason. One-One Team had secretly boarded the plane as well, and they fought through waves of Ultranationalists to secure the hostage. One Ultranationalist grabbed the hostage and threatened to kill him if One-One Team did not stand back, but a One-One member killed the Ultranationalist and saved the hostage. The hostage was found with a bloody bag covering his face and his tie undone, suggesting torture. A bomb that the last Ultranationalist had set begun its countdown, prompting Romeo One-One to grab the hostage and jump out of the plane to parachute to safety, along with most of One-One Team.
