Humvee

The Humvee is a military vehicle, primarily used by the United States military. It can mount an M2 Browning Machine Gun or a Minigun on the roof.

A few vehicles are seen in the multiplayer map Ambush, but they are merely decoration and cover.
[edit] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
In Modern Warfare 2 it is first seen in S.S.D.D., then it's Minigun is used on Team Player and then seen in other levels but can't be used. Several humvees also appear in multiplayer levels but they are completely inoperable. Unlike the previous Modern Warfare title, they can explode like other vehicles after being shot a few times or being pummeled by an explosive.In Afghan and Invasion,the player is able to jump to the machine gun position on the Humvee.

Although the Humvee is still in use, it's in the process of being phased out by the Military in favor of the new MRAP style vehicles,and while possibly still being in use during the course of CoD 4 it would likely be completely phased out by the time of MW2.
In the level The Enemy of My Enemy, a Humvee is used by the Ultranationalists. They may have possibly stolen it from the yard.
