The Intelligence Support Activity or ISA is a special military unit in the US Army and a faction in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. They are tasked to collect actionable intelligence in advance of missions by other US special operations forces, especially Delta Force and SEAL Team Six.

ISA is mentioned in the cutscene prior to the beginning of mission Scorched Earth where ISA cellphone "snipers" were able to triangulate the location of Alena Vorshevsky in Berlin leading to the Delta Force lead rescue operation.

MultiplayerEdit
The ISA only make an appearance in multiplayer as one of the playable factions and would appear wearing the same gear as David Mason and his team in the mission Karma. They face the Militia in Meltdown, Overflow, Hydro, Yemen and Vertigo, then they face the Mercs in Plaza and Slums.
TriviaEdit
- The ISA announcer is voiced by Liam O'Brien, (who has also done announcer voice work for the PMC multiplayer faction in Modern Warfare 3) who was the placeholder voice for David Mason at the E3 2012 LA Demo.
- The bald character models share the same head models as the bald members of the Batallón Dignidad, although the ISA have protective eyewear. They bear even greater resemblance to David Vonderhaar, Treyarch's community manager.
- Some of the ISA soldiers have recognizeable voice actors, such as Steve Blum, who voices Tank Dempsey and James C. Burns, who voices Frank Woods.
