Private James is a character that appears in Call of Duty: WWII.
Biography[]
D-Day[]
On 6 June 1944, James was among the soldiers in the same boat as Lieutenant Joseph Turner when they landed in Normandy as part of Operation Neptune. Just before making landfall, Technical Sergeant William Pierson calls out to James and Kopelson and orders them to prepare to destroy the barbed wire using the Bangalore Torpedo. However, they are not encountered on the beachhead and Private First Class Ronald "Red" Daniels must destroy the seawall, suggesting that both men were killed. Daniels later finds the body of one of them lying on top of the Bangalore with no arms. Turner orders Daniels to take the Bangalore and breach the sea wall.
