• MacMillan was the only person that calls Price by his first name, John. This can be heard on "Return to Sender" and "Stronghold" briefing mission.
• He's the only playable character to meet Makarov face to face and live.
• Price is the only playable character in the Modern Warfare Series to smoke a cigar while in the players point of view as seen in Dust to Dust.
• In the first mission of the Modern Warfare series, Price smokes a cigar before repelling down the Black Hawk. In the last mission of Modern Warfare 3, Dust to Dust, after the player kills Makarov, Price smokes another cigar. This means Price started the Modern Warfare series with a cigar, and ended the Modern Warfare series with a cigar.
