Katyusha rocket launchers play a more prominent role in Call of Duty: World at War. Katyusha rocket launchers are used on the level "Ring of Steel" to soften up German positions on the outskirts of Berlin, and "Heart of the Reich." Katyusha rockets themselves can be seen in the level "Eviction", hitting buildings near the players position and forcing the squad inside. In end of the level "Downfall," the player can only see the rockets flying into the top of the Reichstag.
Katyusha Rockets was also originally going to be a fourth killstreak in multiplayer but was cut. Files for it can still be found in the game.
In Call of Duty: Finest Hour, in the mission "Operation Little Saturn", when the Raven Katyusha team launches rockets, some of them will explode for no reason. Also, some of the rockets will not explode after hitting the ground. After a few seconds, these rockets will disappear.
Also in Call of Duty: Finest Hour, the Katyusha launcher have no crew. When rockets are loaded into it, they just spawn behind them.
