Biography[]

On the night of 22 January 1943, the PPA engages in a raid on the Tunisian village of Matmata. Their objective is to destroy a munitions depot valuable to the Afrika Korps, and so Sergeant Bob Starkey splits his team into two troops for a pincer attack. Troop A, consisting of Starkey, Edward Carlyle, Holden, Joseph and the local partisan fighter Yusef, proceeds on foot through the outskirts of the village towards a German radio post. In the ensuing gunfight, a Panzer IV enters the fray and is subsequently destroyed by Carlyle. Locke then continues to assist the squad to destroy a German communication antenna and later the munitions depot. Locke alongside with Yusef are the only two allies aside from Starkey who appears in the following level where he provides support for Caryle and the rest of the squad. He can only be killed during the second mission, but if he survives, he is left behind along with Yusef at the base in North Africa.
