Multiplayer
Edit
In multiplayer, whenever a player, friendly or enemy, calls in a UAV or Counter-UAV, an MQ-1 Predator will be circling around the map. The drone can easily be destroyed by either locking on to it with an AT4, an FIM-92 Stinger or an FGM-148 Javelin or simply by shooting.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized
Edit
The UAV Recon makes an appearance in the level "Recon Mission". The UAV is first activated by playing a "Satellite Mini-Game". The UAV is sent to the targeted area and the player controls it from there. There are two buttons on the touch screen. One is "Attack Mode". This allows the player to scan the objectives and use the missiles. The other button is "Defense Mode". This mode allows the player to deploy flares to disorient incoming SAM missiles or use the radar.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Edit
Campaign
Edit
The Predator appears in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, beginning with "Black Tuesday", used to eliminate enemies on the rooftop adjacent to the now-destroyed jammer, as well as a Hind. It appears again in "Down The Rabbit Hole", where it is used to clear a path of Delta Force\TF141 and blow open the vault door, but is destroyed by a SAM before it can do so.
Spec Ops
Edit
The MQ-1 appears in Invisible Threat, used to mark IEDs and destroy enemy units and T-90s. It also fires Predator Missiles in Survival Mode, for $2500 each.
Multiplayer
Edit
The MQ-1 once again is the aircraft used for UAV Recon and Counter-UAV. Just like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, it does not actually fire the Predator Missile.
Trivia
Edit
- When the Predator is used in "Wolverines!", it has seemingly limitless missiles without reloading or a new drone entering the airspace. However, in all other Campaign and Special Ops missions, the drone carries only one missile before needing to reload.
- The Predator's model can be found in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare files, but it's never seen in the game.[citation needed]
- Even though the Predator is a propeller driven aircraft, it is never seen in game with a propeller or even a propeller effect, though a propeller sound effect is heard when it is flying.
