For other uses, see Predator.

The MQ-1 Predator is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) used primarily by the USAF and CIA. The MQ-1 is used as an all-purpose UAV, performing reconnaissance on ground targets and/or attacking. The MQ-1 is featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2[]

Campaign[]

The MQ-1 Predator appears several times in the campaign and on "Contingency". It can only fire once before having to reload.

Multiplayer[]

In multiplayer, whenever a player, friendly or enemy, calls in a UAV or Counter-UAV, an MQ-1 Predator will be circling around the map. The drone can easily be destroyed by either locking on to it with an AT4, an FIM-92 Stinger or an FGM-148 Javelin or simply by shooting.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized[]

The UAV Recon makes an appearance in the level "Recon Mission". The UAV is first activated by playing a "Satellite Mini-Game". The UAV is sent to the targeted area and the player controls it from there. There are two buttons on the touch screen. One is "Attack Mode". This allows the player to scan the objectives and use the missiles. The other button is "Defense Mode". This mode allows the player to deploy flares to disorient incoming SAM missiles or use the radar.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3[]

Campaign[]

The Predator appears in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, beginning with "Black Tuesday", used to eliminate enemies on the rooftop adjacent to the now-destroyed jammer, as well as a Hind. It appears again in "Down The Rabbit Hole", where it is used to clear a path of Delta Force/Task Force 141 and destroy the vault door, but is destroyed by a SAM before it can do so.

Special Ops[]

The MQ-1 appears in Invisible Threat, used to mark IEDs and destroy enemy units and T-90s. It also fires Predator Missiles in Survival Mode, for $2500 each.

Multiplayer[]

The MQ-1 once again is the aircraft used for UAV Recon and Counter-UAV. Just like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, it does not actually fire the Predator Missile.
