News Caster
From the Call of Duty Wiki
(Redirected from News reporter)
The News Caster is a female news reporter who can be heard giving the news at specific points in the game. Her main purpose is to give the player background info on multiple events that happen in-game. However, not everything she says is the truth. She dismisses the 6-day campaign as small military struggles and nuclear testing, showing that the public knows nothing about the war. Her only known appearance is in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
[edit] False Information
- She says that Russia claims that the launched missiles were a test that fell well within UN Protocols, when in fact they were warheads aimed at the western hemisphere to cause mass death. This was probably information released by the Russian Government to keep things under control and quiet.
