"On the Water" is the fourth level in Call of Duty: World at War (Nintendo DS).
With the war pushing closer to the Japanese homeland, the enemy is now on the defensive. Allied landing craft are on approach for the invasion of Peleliu Island. Japanese Zeroes fill the skies and are determined to prevent the allies from landing. We must eliminate the threat of the Zeroes, or we won't even make it to the island.
Rook will spawn in a landing craft with a Browning M2 at his disposal, and will be tasked with defending the landing craft. First only a few Zeroes will attack but later on more Zeros will start flying-by. A while into the level, F4U Corsairs will sometimes come by and help, but they shouldn't be relied on to much.
Suddenly, the boat will stop, as the boat's driver will inform that the engine is stalling. The player will have to defend the craft until the engine is working again. The waves of Zeros will be much greater than usual, and they will be coming from all directions. The pilot will then get engine running as the player finishes off the last Zero. When the landing craft reaches the shore, the level will end.
